The Stamp: Inktober 2020, the annual flow of thoughts to ink... on Day 7 the world got news of Edward Van Halen's passing. In tribute I drew a little Gray alien tapping the hell out of a guitar neck. I use Grays as my outsiders, a proxy for disc golfers and the counter-culture weirdos from which we came, and Eddie was one of the best and weirdest aliens we've known. The stamp itself is edited slightly for disc formatting, but otherwise it's the original pencil+ink piece executed by the stamping scientists at MVP HQ.
The Disc: Reactor midrange by MVP Disc Sports. First Run in Eclipse 2.0 Glow Plastic. Their ratings: 5/5/-0.5/1.5 . This plastic is internet famous for being the brightest stuff on the market as of 2020, beating out even the mighty Kasta. I recommend hitting these with a UV flashlight for most blinding results 😎
The Run: 100 stamped total, pretty even mix of four foil colors: black, silver, holographic silver, and brushed copper. This first run of Glow Reactors is long since sold out.
DISClaimer: This run of Glow Reactor is known to have chunks of bright glow material in the plate. They show up as a bright spot on the plate when glowing, and a light speck not glowing. Maybe 1 in 5 will have a small chunk visible, 1 in 10 have several chunks visible. If you'd like the most chunkless wall hanger/banger available for your chosen stamp color and weight, please leave a note with your order. Otherwise be aware that these are considered 1st quality by MVP and should not affect flight.
